Ahhh... The Great Northwest

Alright Mariah (and others) here is a little taste for ya's. First off though, I have tell you why I have not been updating this here blogspot. My little second cousin, Jace, has just been diagnosed with Leukemia. His wonderful mother has shown an amazing strength I cannot even fathom, and is keeping a very frequent blog updating family and friends about the situation. I am at a loss to think that the day before he went to the doctor we were all camping, throwing the football and singing around the fire with Jace. Now he is fighting the battle for his life. And after reading Amy's (his mom) daily blogs I find it pretty hard to sit and write something entertaining and informative about my wandering leisurely life being a professional fun seeker.

But hey! I'm not trying to make anyone feel bad here, sorry. It is what it is.

I am back in Bend! And it is beautiful and sunny and fall. I am still homeless but no stress. I am house sitting for some friends for a couple of weeks and I will move into a place staring October. This was my first week of work and things are nice. Putting together all new materials for unloading ramps (a very smurfy blue) and sifting through piles of applications and sending out re-hire paperwork for the best Lifties around. Though, it is a little weird seeing the volcano without any snow on it. People would never know that they are skiing on top of gigantic boulders and cinder. Trying to put together a mid-october sailing plan as well. I will try to put up some picks of the rock pile soon.

If your the praying type, please send one up for Jace. If your the karma type, good thoughts and wishes to keep him out in front and runnin' easy on his adventure.
